Congratulations to our 2012 winner - James Kemble - who won a Luxury Private Boat Charter and tickets to Beale Park

Beale Park Thames Boat Show

A note from our winner....

Hi Polly and Neil.

Just a quick e-mail to say that Nicola and I plus all my family and friends had a really lovely time aboard the Sea Saga the other weekend.  The level of hospitality that you gave us was superb, such a warm welcome and it was so lovely just to be able to sit and relax onboard your vessel and watch the world go by.  Everyone commented on the lovely food we had and how much they had all enjoyed themselves.  Two added treats were the chocolate champagne bottle and the photos which arrived last week.

I will definitely be recommending you both to anyone planning a trip on the River Thames, and we hope to see you at Beale Park or the Thames Trad next year.

Kindest Regards

James Kemble

Congratulations to James Kemble from Bristol, who is the winner of this year's prize draw at the Beale Park Boat Show.  The competition, which was organised in conjunction with River Thames Charters, ran on-line prior to the event as well as being featured in the Show Brochure.

James is now set to claim his prize later in the summer, which consists of: a private charter for up to eight people, including Afternoon Tea and refreshments, on board Sea Saga, a 36ft beautiful classic motor cruiser with his very own skipper and crew + tickets to Beale Park Wildlife Park.

James, his friends, and family will board the private classic cruiser later in the summer, with a chance to sip a glass of bubbly whilst soaking up the beautiful sights of the Upper Thames.  A quintessential Afternoon Tea will be served during the three hour cruise which will include smoked salmon & dill mayonnaise sandwiches, fresh strawberries and cream and a selection of delicious pastries, together with freshly brewed tea and coffee. Sparking wine and soft drinks will also be available during the cruise.

In addition, James and his guests will enjoy a day at Beale Park, home to a unique collection of rare and endangered birds, with animal favourites including monkeys, prairie dogs, meerkats, raccoons, coati and wallabies.

Ideal for all ages, younger visitors have a choice of several adventure play areas, including the UK’s only Little Tikes Village - while others can enjoy a walk in the Jubilee Water Gardens, discover more about the world around them or treat themselves to a meal in the Peacock Restaurant.
