Beale Park Thames Boat Show

The Beale Park Boat Show is staged within the Park's 350 acres of parkland, set against a stunning backdrop of the River Thames.

The showground is accessible to wheelchair and buggy users, but may not suit all visitors as the fields are undulating - however, every effort is made to assist you during your visit.

If you have any queries regarding your visit please contact us on: 0118 9767489.

Toilets - A toilet block and various pods are situated throughout the showground, including disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.

Meeting point - An area of the showground is signed as a designated meeting point to assist you during your visit.

Refreshments - Refreshments are available throughout the show, with a variety of caterers on hand to prepare a mouth watering selection of dishes, alongside the Beer Tent which offers a selection of real ales and comprehensive bar.

Parking - Free parking is available with disabled spaces reserved, close to the ticket office.

Mooring -  We have a mile of riverbank available and space will be reserved, if pre-booked. There will be a small charge of £10.00 for the reservation, to cover administrative costs. Please observe the signs on the bank which will show you where to moor. Unfortunately, we have no facilities for servicing boats, so we advise you to fill up and pump out before arrival. Showers will be available, but only during Show hours, as access to them will be via the Showground.

We ask you, please, to take your own rubbish home (or use the bins provided in & around the Showground) and to ensure that all disposable BBQs are raised off the ground, in order to prevent damage to the grass and to lessen the risk of fire.

Camping - Camping is available in the field adjacent to the showground. The dates available for camping will be released nearer the 2013 Show.

The camping facilities at the show were updated in 2010, with the provision of fire equipment and an improved layout. Exhibitors will be required to book in advance and display a car/tent pass. There will be a small charge of either £10 or £20 per unit, depending on the number of nights booked, that will cover the duration of your stay.

We can provide a flat site, with sufficient space for one tent/caravan with one vehicle adjacent. There is fresh water from a standpipe in the field and temporary showers and toilets – and there is an Elsan emptying point. Please note that there is no electrical hook-up on site.

We ask you, please, to take your rubbish home – or to use the waste bins provided – and to ensure that all disposable BBQs are raised off the ground, in order to prevent damage to the grass and to lessen the risk of fire.

For your safety, please do remember to bring a torch with you, for movement around site after dark.
