Health and Safety at the show

The Show organisers do everything possible to minimise risk and to ensure the safety of visitors and exhibitors at the show.

A safety boat with a dedicated team will be present on the lake throughout the event and a paramedic will be based in the First Aid Tent, close to the ticket office, for the duration of the show.

Life Jackets: the use of a life jacket is recommended at all times and we would ask that the provision of an appropriate life jacket is made available to and is worn by any visitor on the water.

Risk assessment and Insurance: it is essential that all exhibitors complete and return their Risk Assessment Form and Insurance details to the Boat Show office prior to their arrival on-site.

If you have any queries, please contact: Gillie Jackson on: Tel: 0118 9767498.

Vehicles

In line with stringent Health and Safety requirements, there will be no vehicular movement permitted on the showground during Show hours.

We do ask for your cooperation with this, please. We understand that some exhibitors have long journeys at the close of the Show, but we cannot allow movement of vehicles while members of the public are still on site.

Security

Every effort is made to secure the showground at all times, with additional security arrangements in place during the show.  Further information will be forwarded to exhibitors within their information pack.

Please note:  We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to items or displays left on the showground overnight.
